The Stoughton Motel is located in historic Stoughton, Wisconsin.
In addition to our May Norwegian Syttende Mai celebration, we have the February Norse Afternoon of Fun, the Halloween Harvest Festival, the merchant's Holiday Open House, Fall Coffee Break, and the Victorian Holiday Celebration.

In early July, the Stoughton Junior Fair combines the exhibits of 4-H and FFA members with live entertainment and a midway filled with rides and games. Summertime in Stoughton also treats you to our 4th of July fireworks, a citywide garage sale, a Maxwell Street Day event, a Farmer's Market every Friday, a historic homes tour, and numerous other activities and events sponsored by the city.
Cultural events to entertain you include the high school's acclaimed Madrigal Dinner, delightful productions by the Stoughton Village Players, and a wonderful variety of performances in the City Hall Auditorium. You can hear the city band or the community festival choir. Visit our city library, historical museum, movie theater, art gallery, and new Center for the Performing Arts.

Madison is just a fifteen minute drive away, giving our guests convenient access to the Expo and the Colosseum. Parents and potential students also find us to be a great place to relax between University of Wisconsin tournaments, graduations, and interviews.
Some of the other events and attractions our guests enjoy are the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Little Carlisle auto show in Jefferson, Cave of the Mounds in Mt. Horeb, Badger State Games in Madison, high school sports tournaments, the Madison International Speedway, and the great fishing, water-skiing and snowmobiling found on Lakes Kegonsa, Koshkonong, Waubesa, Mendota and Menona.
